The location of the villa offers full privacy and quietness and there will be no noises from car or surrounding houses (although the villa may look to be close to the national road on the map, actually not close to the national road than it seems and also the national road is located behind a mountain that is also higher altitude than the villa’s altitude).

Shops, great seafront restaurants and supermarkets are only 1 km away in the Koumbes area at the entrance of Rethymno town. Koumbes also has the closest sandy beach to the villa, however the more organized cosmopolitan beach of Rethymno is only 3 km away. Furthermore, the villas location provides a great base for making excursions around Crete as the main national road is only a few minutes away.
